ABSC Santa Hat Shoe Ski Event & Christmas Party

Hold this Date - DEC 3RD - for the ABSC Santa Hat Shoe Ski event and Christmas Party

Plans so far:

Santa Hat Shoe Ski

• Find a group to do your Santa Hat shoe ski run with anytime during the day on the 3rd and video your trick runs (2 - 15-second trick passes)
• video the trick run on a camera that we can hook up to TV at Ski Shores
• have a witness - on your honor to NOT delete a bad run or video multiple runs and just bring the best one!!!
• Official barefoot trick rules apply to tricks http://www.worldbarefootcouncil.com/rules.php
• Official ABSC "Santa Hat" RULES to follow (with details on handicap system and Santa Hat points)
• At least one boat will have an official timer (box not person) in it if you want the audible tone for start and end of the pass...see contact list below.

Christmas Party

• Start at 5ish at Ski Shores on Lake Austin - http://www.skishoresaustin.com/ 
• Very informal party - come as you are (from the lake still in your barefoot suit is fine), by boat or car.
• Check the weather...party is essentially outdoors, though they may have heat for that room (usually open to the lake), so dress accordingly. They have a big fire pit that should be fired up too.
• We will be judging trick runs on the TV in the room to the left of the bar
• Bring your Dam 2 Dam footage to play on the TV as well
• We'll just order individually off the menu, but they are expecting us and staffing for additional guests.
• If you have another Christmas party later that night come hang with us first!!!

2011 Dam to Dam Race Results

What a great weekend! Perfect conditions and two new course records! Thanks to everyone who helped out and skied. We had perfect water, great food and awards. Thanks to Brent Kaedel, Jim Rollins, Phil, Jimmy, and Charlie for all the time and effort.

Next year we are planning on blowing it up for the 25th! Congrats to Team Father and Son for setting a new open course record of 27:09 and to Top Gun for a new Pro record of 21:55, see results, below.
